MARION -- It is indeed very merry in Marion.
A Very Merry Marion, a citywide celebration of the holiday season, has been offering Christmas carriage rides around the square.
While all current spots have been reserved, there is a waitlist available.
Call (618) 997-7228 to be added to the waitlist.
Cost is $10 per group with a maximum of eight people per group.
Only family units are permitted to ride together.
Those attending are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their appointed start time at the pick-up and drop-off location, which is Paradise Alley, between the Civic Center and Lavish Box on the square.
