HARRISBURG -- It's not every holiday concert where the audience is encouraged to sing along, but that's exactly what happened Sunday at Harrisburg High School's choir and band Christmas concert.

After impressive performances from both jazz band groups and the concert choir, program director Hannah Drake asked for audience participation.

"I'm going to motion to you, and we want you to sing along with the choir while the band plays," she told the audience.

The audience sang along to "Silver Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" before the band then played a few more instrumental Yuletide favorites.

The choir and band received a standing ovation at the end of the concert.
