Du Quoin Police Blotter

The following incidents were obtained from the Du Quoin Police Department. Note that arrests, charges and citations are allegations only, not findings of guilt.

May 16
Police cited Sean M. Lively, 41, of Du Quoin at 9:01 p.m. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Police arrested Michael Sanchez, 22, of Du Quoin at 10:13 p.m. on charges of driving on a suspended license, suspended registration and resisting a peace officer. Sanchez posted $150 cash bond.

May 18
Police arrested Robert L. White, 48, of Du Quoin at 12:29 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery. White was incarcerated at the Perry County Jail.
Police arrested James Bunton, 34, and Carrie Bunton, 41 both of Elkville, at 10:45 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were incarcerated at the Perry County Jail.

May 19
Police cited Corgan Lynch, 17, of Dowell at 3:30 p.m. for duty of due care.
Police arrested Bryan Cavins, 28, of Du Quoin at 6:58 p.m. on charges of speeding 71 in a 45 zone, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and DUI. Cavins posted $100 and his driver's license.
Police cited April Stanley, 37, of Pinckneyville at 11:15 p.m. for expired registration.
