'Vintage in the Ville' coming June 10 and 11

Antiques and rare, refurbished items will take center stage June 10 and 11 at "Vintage in the Ville," a fundraising event to benefit the Perry County Jail Museum and the Perry County Fair Board.
The vintage market will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday , June 11 under the grandstand at the Perry County Fairgrounds in Pinckneyville. Admission will be $1.
Items for sale will include antiques, furniture, vintage jewelry, clothing and flowers. There also will be a demonstration on painting furniture.  
Food vendors will be on site both days. Baked on Division in Du Quoin will have an old-fashioned pie stand, offering slices of pie as well as whole pies for sale.
In addition, vintage campers will be on display.  Most of the campers are locally owned and are from the 1950s and 1960s. Some will be open to view from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Saturday night will feature a free screening of the film "The Long, Long Trailer," starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The film will begin at dusk, and those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
On Sunday, a vintage car cruise-in will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
