Seymour named All-Star MVP

Chester Lady Jacket basketball standout Alyssa Seymour was named the MVP of the 2022 Southern Illinois Lions Club Classic All-Star game. The 43rd annual event was hosted at Rend Lake College Friday, March 25. Seymour helped the Purple Team win 78-67 over the Gold Team. Seymour led her squad in scoring with 10 points during her 10-minute playing time. All of her points came under the basket by rebounding her teammates' missed shots and putting them back up.
