The Marion girls' golf team had a pair of top five performances and the Wildcats finished second as a team as Wednesday's Marion 18-hole Lady Cat Invitational at Kokopelli Golf Course.
Mt. Carmel took the team title with a 305 and were led by Lilly Gottman's 71, as she took home medalist honors.
Marion was second with a 323 as Baylee Kelley was second overall as the senior fired a pair of 36's for a 72. Sarah Capel carded a 38 on the front and went out with a 40, finishing with a 78, good enough for fourth place overall. The Wildcats followed with an 80 from Grace Roper and a 93 from Avery Cornett, while Zoey Danner added a 105.
Massac County (337), Harrisburg (363), West Frankfort (394), Carbondale (410) and Pinckneyville (420) rounded out the team scoring.
Harrisburg got a pair of 83's from both Madison McClusky and Frankie Leigh Nicholes, while Hannah Jones carded a 96. Gracie Behnke added a 101 and Jaci Robinson finished with a 115.
