Payton Morgan's recruiting process was a nervous one according to the Pinckneyville senior who recently signed her National Letter Of Intent recently.
The deciding factor was a place where she feel in love with the school's atmosphere -- and the nursing program.
Morgan will attend Wabash Valley College and now says she has a major sense of relief after trying to decide where to attend post high school.
"I was very nervous trying to pick or decide where I wanted to go to school at, but I'm also very relieved that I was able to pick from multiple places. I'm also very grateful I get to play for two years because it's what I love to do."
Morgan was joined by friends and family at her signing and noted that because of the corona virus, the recruiting process has been difficult with no fall season.
Because of the corona virus its been pretty stressful not getting a season and really, still not knowing if we're going to get one this spring. I'm very grateful that I get the opportunity to decide where I want to go to college."
