Eldorado falls to Robinson, Mt. Carmel

It was a tough day with windy conditions for the Eldorado baseball team as the dropped a pair of games at Mt. Carmel, losing to Robinson 11-1 and the host Aces 14-10 Saturday.
In the loss to Robinson, Joe Mayberry was pinned for 11 runs on 11 hits over four innings, while striking out four and walking one.
Offensively, Eldorado had just five hits on the day as Hunter Sizemore, Nolan Milligan, Braden Unthank, Eli Ralston and Mayberry all had one hit.
Eldorado's lone run came in the second inning when Unthank drove in Milligan.
In the Eagles' loss to Mt. Carmel, the two teams combined for 33 hits as the Aces had 21.
Dalton White got the start on the mound and went three innings, giving up nine runs on 12 hits, while striking out two and walking two. Sizemore came on in relief and gave up five runs on nine hits with one walk.
Ben Byrd was 5-for-5 to pace the Eagles at the plate as the senior scored two runs and drove in one run.
Unthank went 2-for-4 at the dish with an RBI and run scored, while Bryant Byrd was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI.
Mayberry, who went 1-for-3, scored one run and drove in a run. Milligan was also 1-for-3 with an RBI. Trevor Milligan was 1-for-4 with an RBI, while Ralston scored a run and drove in a run.
