The family of Jack Link was honored Feb. 16 for their gift of a state-of-the-art shooting machine to the Chester High School basketball program.

The machine was made possible with memorial money from the estate of Jack Link, who died last year after a tragic tractor accident.

Link was a former student at Chester High School and throughout his adult life was a dedicated supporter of Yellow Jacket basketball. His son, Derek Link, was a standout basketball player at CHS and his grandson, Jakob Cushman, is a current senior basketball starter on the 2018-2019 Yellow Jacket squad.

As a thank you from the Chester High School basketball program, CHS senior players Keith Kiner III, Drake Bollman and Colin Wingerter, far right, presented the Link family with a plaque of appreciation. The presentation took place prior to the start of the CHS vs. Sesser-Valier game.
