In the first overtime game of the tournament, Herrin outlasted West Frankfort to stay on the winner's side of the bracket by defeating the Redbirds 73-68.
Herrin put three players in double figures, led by a game-high 27 points from Drew Ringle. Brandon Anthony, who came up huge for Herrin in the fourth quarter and overtime period, put up 16 points, while Hayden Holloway tossed in 15 points.
Josh Melvin was West Frankfort's top scoring, flushing 21 points, while CJ Johnson also finished in double figures with 17 points.

In the first game of the morning, Vienna stayed alive in the Consolation bracket by beating Hamilton County 56-46.
Lane Ross had a team-high 17 points for Vienna, while the Foxes were led by 19 points from Garrett Webb.
Hardin County then beat Carrier Mills 57-33, where the Cougars got 13 points from Gabe Fowler, 11 from Johnny Johnson and 10 from Conrad Cowsert.
Colton Betz led CMSF with 11 points, while Caden VanMeter scored seven points. Rostin Lewis finished with five points, while Brandon Hambleton, Jeremy Choat, Zavier Rollins, Nathaniel Reed and Aidan Rollins all had two points

Like Herrin, Massac County stayed alive on the winners bracket, setting up an SIRR Ohio semifinal matchup Saturday with a 64-48 win over Edwards County.
The Patriots put three players led by 17 points from Marshon Merril, while Zach Travis scored 16 points and Jase Mizell tacked on 10 points.
Justin Wallace, who went over the 1,000th point mark in the first quarter, finished with a team-high 15 points for Edwards County, while Marty Schmittler scored 10 points.

Vienna advanced to Saturday's Consolation Championship game, beating Carmi-White County 55-54.
Vienna was led by a game-high 19 points from Carter Bishop.
In the loss for the Bulldogs, Ty Barbre had 15 points, while Ethan Mahon tacked on 12 points.

No. 1 seeded Fairfield moved on to the semifinals of the EHT with a 72-46 win over Carterville.
The Mules put four players in double figures as Kane Hixenbaugh had a team-high 13 points. Landon Zurliene scored 12 for the Mules, while both Reese Lee and Jayzale O'Neal each had 10 points.
Eli Downen and Dylan Moore each had a pair of 12-point performances for the Lions.

In the final game of the night, Eldorado eliminated Hardin County 62-55, putting the Eagles in the Consolation Championship game against Vienna.
Aiden Whitlock picked up where he left off Friday morning, leading Eldorado in scoring with 17 points. Joe Mayberry had 12 points for the Eagles, while Bryant Byrd scored 11 points.
Hunter Sizemore netted nine for the EHS, while Nolan Milligan scored six points, Ladayyea Shewmaker finished with four points and Townsend Barton tacked on three points.
Hardin County finished with four players in double figures as Jaron Austin had a team-high 15 points. Both Johnny Johnson and Austin Smock each scored 11 points and Conrad Cowsert tacked on 10.
