VIENNA - The Sesser-Valier Red Devils boys basketball team posted its fourth win in a row last week at Vienna, 75-55.

The Red Devils came out on fire, scoring 20 points in the first quarter. They ended the game the same way, scoring 24 in the fourth quarter.

"It was a back-and-forth game," said coach Shane Garner. "We got hot early but never really could put them away. We got a little undisciplined in our approach that cost us opportunities to extend our lead. Hats off to Vienna for not quitting. They played extremely hard. We have won four in a row now and are looking forward to some time to rest and get healthy. We are also looking forward to the Holiday Tournament."

The Red Devils were led in scoring by junior Tyler Winchester with 21 points. Also scoring in double figures were Lukas and Eli Gunter with 13 points each and Joshua Gunter with 12 points.

Rounding out the scoring for S-V were Addison Page with 9 points, Preston Launius with 5 points, and Peyton Rock with two points.

The Red Devils are seeded fourth in their own holiday tournament.
