Glenda L. Winters, 74, of Carrier Mills died at 12:27 a.m. Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. There will be no visitation. All family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. Rev. Jeff Owens and Rev. Jonathon Stevens will officiate. Felty Funeral Home is assisting the family with the details.
She was born on June 19, 1948, in Creal Springs to the late Earl and Hilda (Killman) Whitaker.
She loved spending time with her family, her dogs and going to rummage and garage sales.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Steve) Mitchell of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Michael (Abigail) Mitchell of Silver Springs, Md., and Mason (Lauren Hancock) Mitchell of Harrisburg; sister Earlene Sullivan of Carrier Mills; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; brother Larry Flannell; aunt Barbara Enz; nephew Brian Sullivan; and niece Becky Bundren.
