James David Klein, 71, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
He lived in Jeffersonville for 46 years and he was a brick mason for 31 years. James was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a native of Chester, Illinois.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Klein of Charlestown, Indiana; daughter, Patricia Lowe of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sister, Diane Hulchcraft of Pinckneyville, Illinois.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his good friend, Lora Wiggers, of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
James was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Klein; his mother, Laura Klein; daughter, Stephanie Klein; and sisters Donna Klein and Bernadette Phoenix.
Cremation was chosen. E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
