June Lorene Omohundro, age 93, of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:22 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center.
June was born on Jan. 9, 1925 in Broughton to the late William Austin and Mary Belle (Jones) Tedford. She married Rolley Dallas Omohundro and he preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1997. June was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Mission Church.
June is survived by two sons, Larry (Mary) Omohundro of Harrisburg and Richard (Kathy) Omohundro of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Clinton (Robin) Omohundro, Penny (Charlie) Bramlet, Jeff (Pam) Marcum, Christopher (Samantha) Marcum, Tammy Omohundro, Angela Omohundro and Jessica (Curt) Williams; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Claris Barger of Eddyville; sister-in-law, Ann Tedford of Eldorado; and several nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Blake Clayton will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
