Two West Frankfort residents have been charged with crimes related to methamphetamine.
On Aug. 9, the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Wesley A. Miller, 31, and Chelsie Schaefer, 26, on outstanding warrants. Further investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant at a rural West Frankfort residence occupied by Miller and Schafer, where methamphetamine was seized.
Miller and Schaefer were charged additionally with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
The case will be prosecuted by the Franklin County State's Attorney's Office.
