Saline County 4-H members are busy preparing their projects to exhibit for judging at the July 4-H shows. The Saline County 4-H staff would like to invite the public to these shows to see the projects and the talented young people in our communities who have created or raised them.

4-H General Show and Home & Family Show combine
The Saline County 4-H General Show and Home & Family Show have combined this year. We hope to accommodate our 4-H families better by holding both shows simultaneously. This new combined 4-H show is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, July 7 at Dorrisville Baptist Church, 1300 Feazel St., in Harrisburg. We ask that clubs observe the following check-in schedule:
8:45 a.m. -- Clover Explorers and Pleasant Valley Go-Getters
9 a.m. -- Country Clovers, Farmin' Friends, and H2
9:15 a.m. -- Lads & Lassies and Pioneers
Projects will be on display for members, volunteers and the public to view following judging, ribbon presentations, and pictures.
Extension Office closed on holiday
The University of Illinois Extension office in Harrisburg will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in observance of Independence Day. The staff at University of Illinois Extension and Saline County 4-H wish you and your families a wonderful, safe, and Happy 4th of July!
