Marion Unit 2 Foundation presents checks for band programs, classroom supplies

Teachers gratefully accept $9,400 from the Marion Unit District 2 Foundation, to be used for classroom supplies.

The Marion Unit 2 Foundation made a pair of presentations at Friday night's Marion basketball game.

The first were two $1,000 checks, given to both the Marion High School and Marion Junior High School band leaders.

The second was $9,400, collected through grants, that was given to Marion teachers to buy supplies for their classrooms.
