The Travelstead dancers performed June 20 at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center, the 62nd annual spring recital of the Travelstead Dance Studio of Marion and Anna. The dancers are students of Laura Travelstead.
This year's recital theme was a celebration of Dana Travelstead Ralls' 40th year of teaching; thus, both old and new songs were featured.
Travelstead recitals are always benefits. The studio will use proceeds from this recital to purchase its 39th brick for the civic center starwalk, and to make a donation to National Disaster Relief.
