Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hastings will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Arnold View Baptist Church near Creal Springs.
Dale and Nancy Boester were married April 6, 1962, in Marion.
Mr. Hastings worked at Giles Electric before becoming a coal miner, an owner of Dale's Waterbeds and a painter.
Mrs. Hastings was a homemaker.
The couple has three daughters, Treina Basham of Marion, Starla Kuberski of Troy, Mo., and Skyla Stotlar of Marion. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
