Verna R. Spivey, 96, of Rosiclare passed away Sept. 26, 2023, at Hardin County General Hospital.
She attended First Christian Church of Rosiclare.
Survivors include her children, Larry Warren of Rosiclare, Garry (Rita) Warren of Elizabethtown, Ricky (Anna) Warren of Metropolis, Sharon (Mike) Robinson of Elizabethtown, Kevin Warren of Rosiclare, Debbie (Bill) Wallace of Rosiclare and Joyce (Scott) Boone of Henderson, Ky.; brothers Raymond Vernon English of Clifton and Everett Victor English of Golconda; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Dora Kay Warren; and son-in-law David Cowsert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Essie English; husband James Spivey; children Rusty Warren, Ronnie Warren and Regina Cowsert; brother Vinson English; and sisters Verla Hicks and Faye Daniels.
Services were Oct. 1, 2023, at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare with interment in Shelby Cemetery in Pope County.
