Harvey Vise, 86, of Benton passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 30, 2011, in Helia Healthcare of Benton.
Graveside funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Macedonia Cemetery. There was no visitation. Those attending the service were requested to meet at the cemetery. Morton & Johnston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born April 2, 1925, in Macedonia, the son of Evan and Goldie (Moore) Vise.
Mr. Vise is survived by his brother, James Vise and wife Clara Lu of Benton, and two nieces, Linda Maddox and husband Keith of Chesterfield, Mo., and Susan Brookins and husband Ron of Marietta, Ga.
Sue Lake of Benton has been his caregiver for the past 11 years.
Mr. Vise was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Hosea Vise.
