Eldorado Garden Study Club says support pollinators this spring
ELDORADO -- As the Eldorado Garden Study club ramps up its activities in anticipation of the coming gardening season, the group wants to remind and encourage area gardeners to include plants that provide food and habitat for pollinators in their gardens and yards. The population of pollinators, which is critical to our food supply, is seeing declining numbers. Bees and butterflies are especially drawn to plants that are native to our local area, and they particularly love wildflowers that are pollen and nectar-rich.
