The Eldorado Eagles fought hard last Friday night, facing off the favored Fairfield mules and clawing their way to a 14-0 halftime deficit. Fairfield went on to win the contest 34-14.

In the second half the Eagles put a few touchdowns on the board courtesy of Parker Price and later freshman Caden Henson. The Eagles were led on defense by Price, Jake Phelps and Coltin Patrick with eight tackles each.

"Proud of the effort tonight but we simply have to play a cleaner ballgame to beat a good team such as Fairfield" head football coach Joe Clark said.

The Eagles will be back in action this Friday at Boz Adams Field against rival Johnston City.
