Prep Baseball: 'Dogs shut out, shut down Olney; beat Mt. Carmel on the road

Chance Moscardelli and Jackson Pittman combined to throw a no-hitter as Harrisburg shut out Olney Richland County Tuesday at Jay Thompson Field.
Moscardelli threw just three pitchers, before being relieved by Jackson Pittman as the senior tossed 4.2 innings, striking out five and walking one.
At the plate, the Bulldogs were efficient, scoring 12 runs on 12 hits as Blake Stacey, Bryant Lester and Ethan Golish all had multiple hit days. Stacey finished with a game-high five RBI and a run scored. Lester drove in three runs, while scoring one run and Golish had two RBI and two runs scored.
Cameron Ande, Braden Burtis, Ross Rider, Luke Miller, Grant Wilson and Pittman all had one hit.
Ande and Rider each had one RBI, while Ande scored two runs. Pittman, Burtis, Rider Miller, Wilson and Riley King all scored one run.
Harrisburg 19, Mt. Carmel 5
Chance Moscardelli and Mark Miller combined on the mound as Harrisburg knocked off Mt. Carmel 19-5 on Wednesday.
Moscardelli went 3.2 innings and allowed five runs (four earned) on nine hits, while striking out three and walking two.
Miller pitched 2.1 innings in relief and struck out five, while giving up just one hit.
At the plate, the Bulldogs pounded out 19 hits on the day as Cameron Ande was 3-for-5 with a game-high four RBI and two runs scored. Ande had two doubles and one triple on his afternoon.
Jackson Pittman, who also doubled, was 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored and was joined by Ethan Golish, Braden Burtis, Jack Ford, Ross Rider and Brendan Bergan as guys who had multiple hits on the day.
Golish finished with three runs scored, while Burtis scored a pair of runs and drove in two. Ford and Rider each had an RBI and a run scored, while Bergan finished with two RBI and a run scored.
Dawson Griffith, Luke Miller, Blake Stacey and Reed Rider each had one hit as Griffith scored one run. Miller scored three runs, while driving in one and Reed Rider, along with Stacey, each scored two runs. Stacey finished with a pair of RBI. Grant Wilson added an RBI as well.
