This was a learning experience for us again. We had some very uneven at bats throughout the game and left some runs on the board. Defensively, we didn't get to a couple of softly hit balls, and walked some people. It appeared like we had escaped, but it bit us at the end of the game.

At Sparta, April 4
Today was a good day to get everyone right after a rough week last week. It started in the circle with Addie (Waggoner) throwing a no-hitter. She was dominant today, striking out eight in her 4 innings.
We got all 13 girls into the game, and had hits up and down the lineup. It was great to see Rileigh Harris and Emily Ruppert hit their first career home runs.
We sat back on some slower pitching, which has been difficult for us in the past, so that was a good sign. Hopefully we can keep up the momentum tomorrow at Du Quoin.
