Prep Golf: McClusky, Nicholes finish second at Terrier Scramble

On Monday, Harrisburg won a dual match over Murphysboro, beating the Red Devils 192-201.
Frankie Leigh Nicholes took medalist honors with a 39, while Madison McClusky fired a 42. Gracie Behnke added a 48, while Laura Behnke finished with a 63. Jaci Robinson added a 67 for the Bulldogs.
On Wednesday, Marion tied with Cape Notre Dame for first place at the 11-team Terrier 2-woman scramble at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale.
For good measure, the Wildcat duo of Sarah Capel and Baylee Kelley had the best score, shooting a 67.
Grace Roper and Emma Pyatt added an 81, while Danner and Avery Cornett shot a 78.
Harrisburg's duo of Madison McClusky and Frankie Leigh Nicholes were second overall as the Bulldog pair fired a 70. Grace Behnke and Hannah Jones netted a 90, while Behnke and Jaci Robinson finished with a 116.
