Prep Soccer: Bulldogs battle back to beat Pinckneyville

Harrisburg rallied from a three-goal deficit in a come-from-behind 6-3 win over Pinckneyville Tuesday.
With Harrisburg trailing 3-0, 12 minutes into the second half, Jack Winters put the Bulldogs on the board with an assist from Adrian Mann. Less than a minute later freshman Keivaun Mann would put one in the back of the net bringing the 'Dogs within one. Adrian Mann would get the equalizer for the 'Dogs in the 63rd minute. Two more goals from Winters and one from Talon Thurston would give Harrisburg a 6-3 win over the Panthers.
Senior goalkeeper Jesus Aboyte finished with. A solid eight saves helping the Bulldogs seal another victory.
"It was good to see us battle from behind but we still have a lot of work to do," Harrisburg head coach Jared Butler said. "Better teams won't let you back into a game from three behind."
Harrisburg was scheduled to host Carterville/Herrin Thursday night The Bulldogs travel to Lyon County, Ky. (tonight) Friday.
