Prep XCC: Wildcats take third at NCOE

Last Wednesday, the Carrier Mills-Stonefort cross country team finished third on the boys' side, as Norris City-Omaha-Enfield won the meet with 46 points. Gallatin County (59), Carrier Mills-Stonefort (60) and Grayville (91) rounded out the team scoring.
Robbie Hadley had a first place finish for the Wildcats as he turned in a time of 19:20, while Nathan Collins and Shawn Carter each had Top 10 times as Collins was seventh, finishing at 24:16 and Cater had a time of 24:39 for ninth place.
Skyler Collins was 17th overall with a time of 30:16 and Dalton Stevers turned in a 26th place performance after turning in a time of 36:04.
"I thought Robbie ran really well today," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "He just has a lot of natural ability. Shawn Carter also ran well in his first meet as a freshman."
On the girls' side, Lizzie Bristow was seventh with a time of 30:35.
Up Next: Carrier Mills-Stonefort will run at the West Frankfort Invitational Thursday, starting at 3:30 p.m.
