Madison McClusky grabbed medalist honors, firing a 41 as the Harrisburg girls' golf team picked up a 191-266 win over Carterville Thursday at Shawnee Hills Country Club.
Frankie Leigh Nicholas shot a 44 for the Bulldogs, while Gracie Behnke and Hannah Jones each shot a 53.
Other scores for Harrisburg included a 63 from Jaci Robinson, a 66 from Laura Behnke and a 78 from Kailyn Harbison.
Bulldog boys fall at Carterville
Carterville shot a 167, beating Harrisburg (193) in a dual match Wednesday at Crab Orchard Golf Course.
Ashton Hall shared co-medalist honors for the Bulldogs, tying Carterville's Spencer Brown with a 38.
Harrisburg had a 48 from Hayden Emery, while Brent Lawrence (53) and Evan McDermott (54) rounded out the team scoring.
Harrisburg finishes 11th at Carbondale Two Man
Harrisburg shot a 224 and was 11th out of 14 teams at Friday Two-Man Tournament at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale.
O'Fallon won the tournament with a 192, while Waterloo (202), Belleville Althoff (202), Breese Mater Dei (205) and Highland (205) rounded out the top five.
Salem (210), Belleville East (218), Marion (218), Belleville West (219), Mt. Vernon (221), Collinsville (223), Harrisburg (224), Carterville (231), Centralia (233) and Granite City (245) rounded out the team scoring.
The Bulldog duo of Grant Wilson and Ashton Hall shot a 37-33 for a 70, while Evan McDermott and Logan Hatton went 39-36 for a 74. Hayden Emery and Brent Lawrence shot a 79.
Eldorado edged by Anna-Jonesboro at Marion
Anna-Jonesboro's Luke Lashley took home medalist honors, shooting a 34 at Kokopelli Golf Course in Marion as the Wildcats knocked off Eldorado 160-214.
Canon Weatherly paced the Eagles with a 47, while Austin Collins carded a 51. Nic Stanford shot a 54 and Eli Hankins handed in a 62.
