Harrisburg lost its season opener, being shut out 6-0 at Massac County Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs gave up four first half goals and conceded two more in the second half.
Harrisburg head coach Jared Butler noted the Bulldogs were without their top two goal scorers, Jack Winters and Kelsyn Fricker, who were out with injuries.
"We got some good play out of Grant Wilson, Jake Mitchell, Wekey Wang and Keelan Melton," Butler said.
The Bulldogs were scheduled to host Anna-Jonesboro Thursday. That game has now been postponed and will be played on April 3rd. Harrisburg will now travel to Mt. Vernon for a road match Saturday at 11 a.m.
