Alumni Corner: Hawkins shines for Trinity in pair of wins

Karsyn Davis -- SEMO (Harrisburg)
Davis was 1-for-1in SEMO's 6-2 loss at SIU Tuesday afternoon. Last week, Davis went 1-for-3 with a single up the middle in the first inning, scoring one run as SEMO knocked off Tennessee Tech 7-0 last Friday. Davis then went 0-for-2 in Saturday's 8-4 win over TTU.

Tori Schullian -- SIU (Herrin)
Schullian blasted her first home run in the first inning of SIU's 3-0 win over Samford Sunday. Schullian drove in two runs and scored one run with a strikeout. On Friday, Schullian was 0-4 with two strikeouts in SIU's 7-1 Game One win. Schullian did not play in Game Two.

Leaha Wininger -- SEMO (Johnston City)
Wininger was 0-1 as a pinch hitter in SEMO's 7-0 win over Tennessee Tech Friday. In the same role Saturday, Wininger was 0-for-1 in the Redhawks' 8-4 win over TTU.

Matty Hawkins -- Trinity International (Harrisburg)
Hawkins led Trinity with 12 blocks and four blocks as the Trojans picked up a 3-1 win over St. Francis Saturday. Hawkins had 11 kills and two blocks in Trinity's 3-2 win over Olivet Nazarene last Wednesday. On Thursday, Hawkins tallied four blocks in a 3-2 loss to Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis.

Hannah Nalley -- Loyola (Marion)
Nalley was 0-for-1 Sunday in a 7-6 win over Western Illinois and was 0-for-2 Saturday in a 5-4 win over WIU at the Billiken Spring Tournament. Loyola also squared off against St. Louis, losing 4-1 and 11-9.

Hunter Ralls -- SEMO (Anna-Jonesboro)
Ralls got the start, going 1.2 innings, giving up two earned runs on three hits with one strikeout and hitting one batter as SEMO rallied late to beat St. Louis 8-6 Tuesday night.
