Harrisburg falls in SIRR Ohio defensive battles

Harrisburg lost a pair of defensive battles last week, falling to Massac County 33-31 and losing to Benton 23-20.
In Thursday's loss to Benton, Harrisburg put five players in the scoring column, led by six points from senior Lauryn Gribble.
Riley Harrison finished with five points for the Bulldogs, while Kailyn Moss and Chelsea Davidson each finished with four points. Vershay Guyton had a free throw for Harrisburg.
The Bulldogs were just 6-of-26 shooting from the field and went 7-of-15 from the foul line for 46 percent.
Benton got two six-point performances from Ensley and Sesley Tedeschi, while Braelyn Miller and Eubanks both finished with four points. Addisyn Miller tacked on three points.
In the loss to Massac County, Harrisburg shot 32% from the field, knocking down 11-of-34 shots and getting a pair of double digit scoring performances from Sidney Neal (13 points) and Lauryn Gribble (10 points).
Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Chelsea Davidson, adding eight points.
