Eagles grab BDC win over Carmi-White Co.

Eldorado traded blows with Carmi-White County in the first half, but outscored the Bulldogs 28-15 in the second half to win 40-27 in Black Diamond Conference action Monday night.
Eldorado jumped out to a 9-3 first quarter lead, but reversed the roles in the second quarter as the Eagles were outscored 9-3 and both went into the break tied at 12.
In the second half, Lexi Mitchell and Emma Wargel led the charge for EHS as both had five points in the third quarter en route to a 26-20 lead. The Eagles finished the game on a 14-7 run.
Wargel led all scorers with 13 points, while Mitchell tacked on 12 points, Kylee Oglesby scored six points, while Adrianna Hendricks finished with five points. Karis Lane and Alexa Haenel each tacked on two points.
