Alumni Corner: Weber, Farmer shines for SIU in win streak

Karsyn Davis -- SEMO (Harrisburg)
On Sunday, Davis went 1-for-2 in a 7-1 loss to Texas Tech.
Davis was 0-for-3 in SEMO's Game 1 5-3 loss to Texas Tech Saturday. Davis did not play in SEMO's 6-3 loss to Arkansas in Game 2. Davis was used as a pinch hitter in SEMO's 6-2 win over North Dakota State Friday, going 0-for-1 with a strikeout. Also on Friday, the Redhawks dropped a 9-3 affair to Arkansas, where Davis was 0-for-2.

Ian McMahon -- Missouri State (Benton)
Missouri State is off to a 4-1 start and McMahon has appeared in three games, working 2.2 innings, allowing one run (unearned) on two hits, while striking out two and walking one

Hanna Nalley -- Loyola (Marion)
Nalley leads Loyola with a .300 batting average and is slugging .300. The Marion native has had 10 at bats in six games and had three hits with four runs scored, one RBI. She also has five walks to go along with a .563 on-base percentage.

Madi McLain -- Loyola (Benton)
McLain was 22nd in the 400 Meter Dash at this past weekend's Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship. The Benton native turned in a time of 1:02.12

J.T. Weber -- SIU (Massac Co.)
On Sunday, Weber went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a run scored in a 5-2 win over Mercer. Weber cranked a home run to left field in the third inning.
Weber was 1-for-4 with a single to left field in the first inning, scoring Tristan Peters for an RBI in SIU's 11-5 win over Mercer Saturday. Weber finished the day with two RBI, scoring Vinni Massaglia with a sac-fly in the 9th inning.
On Friday, Weber was 2-for-6 with his second home run of the season, including three RBI and two runs scored in a 17-7 win over Mercer.
Weber turned in a 1-for-5 performance over Eastern Illinois in a game from last Wednesday. Weber had a run scored, crossing home plate in the sixth inning.

Noah Farmer -- SIU (Massac Co.)
Farmer came in and closed out Mercer in Friday night's 17-7 win for the Salukis. The Massac County native pitched 2.2 innings and allowed two runs on three hits, while striking out three.

Tori Schullian -- SIU (Herrin)
Schullian went 0-for-1 Saturday with an RBI and a walk in SIU's Game 2 6-4 victory over DePaul.
A Schullian walk in the first inning with the bases loaded resulted in her RBI. On Friday, Schullian was 0-for-3 in SIU's 4-1 win over Austin Peay.

Leaha Wininger -- SEMO (Johnston City)
On Sunday, Wininger was used as a designated player and was 0-for-2, being left on base twice in SEMO's 7-1 loss to Texas Tech.
Wininger was 0-for-1 in SEMO's Game 1 5-3 loss to Texas Tech Saturday. Wininger did not play in SEMO's 6-3 loss to Arkansas in Game 2.

Ryan Vogt -- SEMO (Trico)
Vogt is 0-1 after a 9-3 loss to Arkansas Saturday. The SEMO sophomore and McKendree transfer, got the start and lasted just one-third of an inning, allowing three earned runs on two hits with one strikeout and one walk. Vogt threw just 18 pitches, facing four batters.

Hunter Ralls -- SEMO (Anna-Jonesboro)
Ralls pitched two innings in SEMO's 7-3 loss to Arkansas Friday afternoon. The Anna-Jonesboro product faced nine batters, throwing 25 pitches and allowing one run on two hits with one strikeout.
On Sunday, Ralls was roughed up in relief against Arkansas pitching one inning and allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits with one walk and one strikeout.
