Harrisburg, Eldorado season ends at Mt. Carmel Regional

The Harrisburg and Eldorado girls' golf teams put an end to their season Tuesday as both clubs fell short of qualifying for next week's Salem Sectional
Harrisburg finished sixth out of 12 teams with a 412, while Eldorado netted a ninth place finish, shooting a 424.
Mt. Carmel (313) and St. Anthony (327) advanced as the two teams, while Effingham took third with a 375.
Waltonville was fourth after firing a 394 and Teutopolis rounded out the top five with a 406.
After Harrisburg, Altamont was seventh with a 413 and Carmi-White County was eighth at 423, followed by Eldorado.
Woodlawn (424), Hamilton County (429) and Onley Richland County (431) rounded out the team scoring.
Mt. Carmel's Lillian Gottman took overall medalist honors with a 69, while Hamilton County's Kylee Vaughan was one of three other golfers to advance as an individual after the senior shot a 73.
Harrisburg was led by a 95 from Frankie Leigh Nicholes with a 95 and Madison McClusky shot a 99.
Gracie Behnke fired a 100 and Kinsley Angelly added a 118. Ann Marie Podoriscki (121) and Jaci Robinson (129) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
Alexa Haenel shot a 94 for Eldorado and Adrienne Poore finished with a 104. Karis Lane tacked on a 112, while Hanna Clark carded a 114. Cooper Cain finished with a 131.
