Herrin picked up a triangular win over Harrisburg and Eldorado Monday as the Tigers shot a 178, while Eldorado fired a 181 and Harrisburg shot a 182.
Eldorado's Noah Smith shared co-medalist honors after firing a 40, while Kaiden Lloyd fired a 45 and Canon Weatherly finished with a 47. Austin Willis rounded out the four-person scoring with a 49. Zach Stanford added a 56 and Nick Stanford shot a 57) for the Eagles.
Harrisburg got a low-round 44 from Ashton Hall and Evan McDermott, while Andrew Bittle carded a 46 ad Krayton Morse finished with a 48. Colby Morse (51) and Hayden Emery (57) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
On Tuesday, Eldorado scored a 177-182 win over Hardin County in Elizabethtown.
The Eagles got a team-low 39 from Noah Smith, while Weatherly carded a 42. Nick Stanford and Willis both shot a 48, while Zack Stanford provided a 61.
In a triangular match Wednesday at Carbondale, Harrisburg (177) lost to Belleville Althoff (153) and Carbondale (159).
The Bulldogs got a 43 from Ashton Hall, while Krayton Morse and Hayden Emery each fired a 44. Evan McDermott finished with a 46.
Harrisburg closed out the week with a runner up finish at McLeansboro as the Foxes shot a 158, beating the Bulldogs (181), Goreville (183) and Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (207).
Harrisburg was led by a 41 from Ashton Hall, while Krayton Morse added a 45. Brent Lawrence fired a 46, while Hayden Emery and Evan McDermott each finished with a pair of 49's. Brandon Banks rounded out the team scoring with a 51.
