MARION
Carbondale edged Marion by one stroke, winning a triangular match Monday at Kokopelli Golf Course.
The Terriers' 161 was just good enough to get by Marion, who shot a 162 and Anna-Jonesboro, who added a 173.
Carbondale's Owens Thoms shot a 37 to lead the Terriers, while Kenri Grisham and Zach Sanders fired a pair of 40's and Alex Baughman finished with a 44. CHS also got a 55 from Sam Bacer and a 56 from Kurt Robinson had a 56.
Marion got a low-round 39 from Karsten Stotlar, while Hayden Burns carded a 40. Peyton Danner fired a 41 and Cannon Bright finished with a 42. The Wildcats also got a 44 from Chase Austin and a 47 from Hunter Henry.
A-J's Luke Lasley took overall medalist honors with a 35, while Camden Richardson shot a 43, Gavin Osman fired a 47 and Nick Hannan had a 48.
