A historic career for Harrisburg's Tucker Bryant came to a close this weekend as the senior went 1-2 in the Class 1A State Wrestling Tournament at the State Farm Center in Champaign.
Tucker's day on Thursday began with a loss to Canton's Jacob Waskow in the first round, but the 220-pounder scored a victory over Wilington's Nick Gornik in the wrestle backs with an 8-6 decision.
Bryant's career ended with a 10-6 loss to IC Catholic's Jadon Mims.
Bryant, who was also the 2020 Team MVP on the Harrisburg football team, closes out his final campaign with a 33-8 record.
