The host Eldorado Eagles received the game-opening kickoff, drove downfield and scored on a 29-yard touchdown run by Jace Jenkins en route to a 38-8 win over Christopher/Zeigler-Royalton Friday.
The Bearcats stopped the subsequent two-point conversion, but the touchdown was the first of five registered by the Eagles on this night.
C-Z-R did manage to put points on the board via a two-yard run by senior Darrick Leiser. A pass from junior Bryce Pratt to junior Greg Fletcher scored the two-point conversion.
Next up for the Cats is their Homecoming game as they host Johnston City on Saturday.
