Hamilton County upends Eldorado in four-team match

Eldorado moved to 4-1 on the season as they finished second in a four-team event, falling to Hamilton County.
The Foxes fired a 161, while Eldorado was second with a 181. Fairfield finished with a 188 and Norris City-Omaha-Enfield shot a 202.
Eldorado was led by Evan Coyle's 38, he shared medalist honors with Hamilton County's Brook Downan.
Noah Smith shot a 42 for EHS, while Ely Boulds carded a 49. Jayden Kerbyson fired a 52. Also competing for the Eagles were Kiaden Lloyd (53) and Austin Willis (57).

Harrisburg boys' golf
Late last week at West Frankfort, Anna-Jonesboro won in a triangular at Franklin County Country Club as the Wildcats finished with a 179. The host Redbirds were second with a 162 and Harrisburg finished with a 193.
Ashton Hall fired a 43, while Andrew Bittle carded a 49. Ben Brombaugh shot a 50 and Krayton Morse finished with a 51.

Hamilton County's Kylee Vaughan took medalist honors with a 36 and got help from Jaylee Glenn (46), Bailey Stricken (54) and Zoe Hendrich (68).
For the Eagles, Emma Wargel shot a 49, while Alexa Haenel finished with a 55. Ashlyn Sizemore had a 59, while Teegan Stanely shot a 61. Also participating for EHS was Hannah Clark (62) and Chloe Hopkins (66)
