Harrisburg's Madison McClusky took home medalist honors with a 41 while the Bulldog girls' golf team knocked off Carmi-White County 186-214 in a dual match late last week at Shawnee Hills Country Club in Harrisburg.
McClusky fired a low-round 41 and was joined by teammates Gabby Adams (45), Madeline DeNeal (48), Alli Ferrell (52), Gracie Behnke (54) and Annabella Robinson (57).
Carmi-White County was led by Allie Gee's 42 and was followed by a 51 from Issie Bryant. Macey Heil (60), Kate Deig (61), Elleigh Gray (64) and Madison Wilson (65) rounded out the other four scores.
In boys' competition, Carmi-White County rolled to a 152-189 victory behind Oakley Gee's 33, which was good enough for medalist honors.
Carmi-White County also got a 38 from Ty Barbre and a 40 from August Sanders, while Alex O'Daniel chipped in with a 41. Kaden Carter and Kale Fulkerson each shot a 45.
Harrisburg was led by a 43 from Ashton Hall, while Andrew Bittle wasn't far behind with a 44. Krayton Morse and Ben Brombaugh each fired a 51, while Gabe Smothers carded a 64 and Clay Brigham shot a 66.
The Harrisburg boys's golf team competed at Union County Country Club in Anna-Jonesboro over the weekend, where the Bulldogs shot a 426 in the 18 hole tournament.
Bittle shot a 48-52 for a 100, while Morse went 51-53 for a 104. Hall went 51-59 for a 110 and Brombaugh shot a 61-51 for a 112.
