PINCKNEYVILLE - Panthers' volleyball won a three-set victory over Nashville at home Tuesday to clinch its first conference championship since 1987, the first ever in the River-to-River Conference. The Panthers also extended their win streak to 18 this season as they moved to 25-2 on the year.

Thursday night they traveled the Carterville to complete their Conference season.

The Panthers bested the Hornets (25-14, 17-25, 25-17) in a full night of highly-competitive volleyball.

The freshman teams went three games to decide a victory which turned out to be Nashville. The JV match went three games and Pinckneyville's took the win. Lastly, the Panthers varsity team earned its win in three.
