Back-to-back threes set up Carterville for go-ahead win over Du Quoin Indians

For the first three quarters of  Friday's game against Carterville,  everything went well for Du Quoin.
What happened over the final eight minutes, however, kept the Lions '  title  hopes alive.
Rallying from 14-points down, Carterville out scored Du Quoin 27-14 final quarter and  walked away  with
a 56-50 win.  The Indians (5-16, 1-6)  play  at West Frankfort (6-15) Tuesday.
Carterville improves to 12-8 and 5-2.
      Austin Swalls had a game best 15 points and Brendan Beasley   added   14 for the  Lions.  Blake  Jackson and      Justin Johnston added 10 points each.
Du Quoin led 13-11 at the first break and 24-17 by halftime  . Caleb Vogel had 8 of his team- high 13 points during a  spurt by Du Quoin. Jacob Wright chipped in with 11
  .As the fourth quarter started, the Lions' back-to-back three's by Johnson and Jackson    cutting the margin the Du Quoin down to one.
  .Vogel answered with a three, but Swalls hit two  field goals and a  free throw . And, Indians could not recover.
