Thomas ("Tommy") Gillespie passed away on April 28, 2022 in Hurst, Texas at the age of 72 after a battle with cancer. His family was at his side.
Tommy was born on Nov. 19, 1949 to Cleo and Etta (Claybrook) Gillespie.
He loved doing anything that involved being outside whether it was fishing or riding motorcycles. He loved his family, friends and cold Bud Light.
Tommy is survived by his daughters Jill (Romel) Golden and Jodi Gillespie; his grandson, Landen; his former wife, Christine Gillespie; his sisters Jeanine Baxter, Wilma Grace Simmons and Pamela Gillespie; his brothers, Andrew Gillespie and Richard Gillespie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father and mother; four brothers, Robert Simpson, William Simpson, Harvey Simpson and James Simpson; and two sisters, Ernestine Kennedy and Marie Jackson.
At Tommy's request there will be no services.
