Becky Bundren, 52, of Pittsburg, Illinois, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1969 to Charles (Chuck) Jr. and Earlene (Whitaker) Sullivan. She married Steve Bundren on Feb. 14, 2003. She was a member of Living Hope Church of God in Carrier Mills. She loved going to church, and rummage sales.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; a son, Israel Jackson of Marion; and a daughter, Heaven Bundren at home.
Also surviving are her mother, Earlene Sullivan and sister Beth (Terry) Matheny, both of Carrier Mills; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Becky was preceded in death by her father, Charles (Chuck) Sullivan Jr.; her brother, Brian Sullivan; grandparents Charles Sr. and Maddeline Sullivan, and Earl and Hilda Whitaker; great-grandparents William and Mable Cullum, and Tom and Beulah Killman; and her mother-in-law, Eris Bundren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Living Hope Church of God, 406 N. Main St., in Carrier Mills. Pastor Jonathan Stevens will officiate.
