Laura Jane Tarrence, 74, of Harrisburg, Illinois, died at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Her wish was to be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, Illinois is assisting the family with the details.
Laura was born on July 3, 1947 in Sturgis, Kentucky, to the late Thomas Farthing and Elizabeth (Quartermous) Hopson. She was a homemaker and loved flowers and spending time reading.
She is survived by her son, Jamison Bryant of Harrisburg; a brother, Tom Farthing of Harrisburg; and a sister, Linda Kennett of Calvert City, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Bryant.
