Deirdre Lane (McDowell) Gravley, age 55, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021.
Deirdre was born in Revenna, Ohio on Nov. 28, 1966, the daughter of David Jackson McDowell and Linda Lee (Bemis) Stillman.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Gravley of Rural Hall, North Carolina; her grandson, Aiden William Gravley of Rural Hall; her brother, Dale J. (Elizabeth) McDowell of Princeton, Kentucky; her sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Foster of Princeton, Kentucky; her life partner and fiancé, Michael Donahue of Murphysboro; her niece-, Alyssa Foster of Princeton, Kentucky; twin nieces, Kaya and Kayla McDowell of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; a nephew, Xavier D. Stillman of Princeton, Kentucky; seven half siblings on the McDowell side of her family and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Deirdre was a special soul, kindhearted and loving. She loved her family with all she had. Her laughter will be deeply missed at all the family meals that she loved so much, but she will live on in the wonderful memories shared.
Memorial services for Deirdre were held via Zoom at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021.
