Gerald S. Miller, 70, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Gerald was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Johnson County, Indiana. He was a U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Retired, former Army 82nd Airborne paratrooper, member of the Patriot Guard Riders and member of the Cowboy Church in Red Bud.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friend, Joyce, flying and was working towards his pilot's license.

Gerald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Okhui Miller (nee Yun); and his parents, Dewey Miller and Mary Ann Dawson (nee Frederick).

Gerald is survived by two children, Susan Miller of Los Angeles and LTJG Joshua Cho (ISC Hailey) Miller of Hampton, Virginia; and two brothers, Thomas Miller of Palmdale, California and Scott Collins of Los Angeles.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 with a memorial service starting at 7 p.m. at the Schildknecht Funeral Home in O'Fallon.
