Steven M. Bradley, 66, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at his home.

Steven was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Chester, Illinois, to Max W. and Evelyn Huffine Bradley. Steven was a retired Assistant Warden at Graham Correctional Center. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, the Steeleville Eagles and the Chester Eagles, where he held the Office of Trustee.

Steven is survived by his children, Jason (Shannon) Bradley of Du Quoin, Illinois and Melissa (Aaron) Middendorf of Steeleville; his grandchildren, Blaine Bradley, Owen Bradley, Aiden Bradley, Ella Bradley, Braden Middendorf, Noah Middendorf, Hannah Middendorf and Isabella Middendorf; siblings Fred (Deb) Hammel of Ava, Illinois, Clifford Bradley of Steeleville, Susan (Jim) Brown of Steeleville, Mark (Gayla) Bradley of Steeleville and Sheila Gray of Atlanta, Georgia.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Neil and Thomas.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, with the Rev. Mark Harriss officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville.

Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15; from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Due to executive orders, current COVID guidelines will be followed.

Memorials may be given to the Athletic Department at Steeleville Unit District 138 or to Du Quoin Unit District 300, and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL, 62288.
