Kenneth Lee Otten, 66, of Evansville, Illinois, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 in Sparta, Illinois.

He was born to the late Edmond and Helen (nee Hemann) Otten on July 21, 1955 in Red Bud, Illinois.

He worked as a mechanic for Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners for more than 15 years. He was also a retired firefighter for the Village of Evansville.

Kenneth was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Harley rider.

He is survived by two children, Karyn (Josh) Jones of Evansville and Kevin (Alisha) Otten of Sparta; three grandchildren, Avery Jones, Cole Jones and Anna Otten; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 at Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, with the Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating.

He will be interred at St. Pius V Catholic Cemetery in Walsh, Illinois.

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Pechacek Funeral Homes, Evansville.

The family invites everyone to dress in Harley Davidson attire and to ride their motorcycles in procession if they wish.
